I been talking about fasting so much that literally I feel like the little boy who cried wolf. There's no action coming from the things I say. I've been trying to attempt to water fast, but managed to only do 24 hours the past couple of days. It is currently 11:30AM and I have until 10PM to finish my first 24 hours again.
My goal is really to just hit 14 days and maybe 21. I'm not doing this for any religious reasons or weight loss reasons. My primary reason is to see if fasting is a fad or not. To see if there is any benefits and to experience it first handed instead of watching other people's experience.
A lot of people are trying to intimidate me, but honestly I'm not afraid at all. I'm pretty calm about the whole fasting procedure. The only thing I'm not sure about is the post effects of a fast.

Pre Water Fasting - Am I Really Going Through It
It's currently 1:01AM at the moment, and I seriously cannot sleep. I'm not really sure why so I figure instead of tossing and turning in bed, I would write something. It's actually been a long while since I've written anything. I've even become lazy mostly because I was waiting to accept this job offer. Apparently after a week of waiting, some stuff happened. Now I'm just not working and I'm on the hunt for another job.
Well, for the past couple of days I've been so called trying to "water fast". It does not really help when my mom tells me to have a cookie or she starts cooking something. If I start thinking about the food that's in the kitchen then I start binging. I keep texting people that I'm water fasting when in reality, I'm just eating normally.
I'm back to 168lbs and I'm closer to 170 pretty soon. I need to watch my weight so I guess I'm going to use this iHealth app that comes preinstalled on the iPhone. I'm not really sure what to think about water fasting at this moment. I see a lot of reports on it being beneficial and then I see a lot of reports about people's hair falling out which I don't want.
In reality, I think it comes to what you envision yourself as when you complete the fast. If you worry too much then negative things are bound to happen right? I'm used to a 24 hour fast, but I figure I still document the things that happen. At this moment I am still full from the food I ate earlier. 24 hours will be complete around 10:00PM October 15th.
For those who have been fasting and are used to it, why do you like it? What are the pros and cons to water fasting?
